Quilt Loan Agreement

This agreement is made between (recipient) _____________________ and donor, The Friends of Freedom Society, Inc. and its subsidiary The Ohio Underground Railroad Association. The Friends of Freedom Society, Inc. agrees to loan to the recipient the described property below:

The loan agreement shall commence on ____________________________

And terminate on _______________________________. The property shall be returned on ____________________________________________.

The recipient shall abide by the following conditions during the loan agreement:

1. Do not use pens, tacks, nails, hooks, etc to hang the quilt. The quilt must be hung on a quilt rack.
2. The quilt must be displayed in a secured area. A glass case or a roped off area is suggested.
3. Place a ‘DO NOT TOUCH’ sign next to the quilt.
4. Gloves should be used when handling the quilt to prevent dirt and oils from damaging the quilt fibers.
5. Smoking, drinking and eating is not permitted near the property.
6. Report any problems to the President of The Friends Of Freedom Society, Inc. immediately.
