bulletSteal Away: Songs of the Underground Railroad

Stories and songs served as a guide to freedom and were the backbone of the Underground Railroad. This album, by veteran singers, songwriters and storytellers Kim and Reggie Harris, is a rich collection of mostly traditional music, as well as a remarkable lesson in the importance of music. Steal Away brings together songs that were filled with information essential for making the journey north.
